Chandrababu fights to protect Heritage foods

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly N.Chandrababu Naidu has left no stone unturned to protect Heritage Foods Pvt. Ltd that is being run by his family members.
Chandrababu Naidu through his agents is still trying to ensure that the once strong cooperative dairy sector in Andhra Pradesh is completely ruined. In a last ditch effort Narsapuram MP K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has filed a petition in High Court against the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Corporation and the dairy industry giant Amul.
Mr Raghu Rama Krishna Raju moved the Andhra Pradesh high court with a public interest litigation petition challenging the state government’s decision to transfer assets of Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Corporation Limited (APDDCL) to Amul. In his petition he said that a transparent procedure was not followed which amounts to conferring undue benefits to Amul.
Government pleader C Suman objected to the petition stating that the petitioner wanted to create trouble, unable to digest the additional income being earned by dairy farmers.
Dairy sector experts said that the Chandrababu Naidu Government had little or no interest in the performance of the dairy sector during its rule. Almost all the district cooperative dairies slipped into the red with the TDP government tacitly extending support to Heritage Foods. The private firm that was being run by Mr Chandrababu Naidu’s family bagged all the big contracts in the state sending the district dairy cooperatives into debts.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau brought to light several financial irregularities in the running of Sangam Dairy which made the highest profits in the Congress regime.
The Sangam chairman Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar has been charged with diversion of over Rs 150 crore funds to a private trust after securing the amount as loan from the National Dairy Development Corporation (NDDC). Mr Narendra Kumar who is a confidant of Mr Chandrababu Naidu has even been charged with transferring illegally ten acres of land from Sangam Dairy to a private  trust run by his family members.
Chandrababu Naidu and his associates have been using the Narasapuram MP to file petitions against Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his team. The MP filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of bail granted to Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy by the CBI Court.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has subsequently booked a Sedition case against the MP. CID also included in the case as Accused 2 and 3 two vernacular channels that have through their reports “excited disaffection” towards the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government.
The Supreme Court rejecting a plea to quash the sedition case has allowed CID to continue its investigation into the case and interrogate the MP despite a fake custodial violence complaint filed by Mr Raghu Rama Krishna Raju.
Meanwhile Mr Chandrababu Naidu and his group have gone after CID Director General P V Sunil Kumar saying that he should be removed from service because he underwent religious proselytisation after joining government service that rendered him ineligible.
